This is an informational essay about wetlands. A wetland is a surface that is made up of dirt, mud and many types of grasses. The water in a wetland is found underground. There are three types of wetlands. The first type of wetland is a swamp. A swamp is an area of uncultivated ground where water collects. The second type of wetland is a bog. A bog is an area of wet muddy ground to soft to support a heavy body. finally there is a marsh a marsh is a area of low-lying land which is flooded wet seasons or at high tide.

You have committed some solid time to making these interesting illustrations. Can you explain a little about them? Do these represent different types of wetlands?
