Have you ever wondered what is nitrate? Have you ever wondered what issues that it causes? Well nitrate is a thing called nitrite and when its go’s through bacteria in soils and plants that uses oxygen and its usually found igneous and volcanic rocks. Nitrate is found in some stuff also nitrate is an organic chemical in animal droppings and foods. Nitrate may be organic doesn’t means its good it harms young infant's (usually 6 months of age) but not older people. Nitrate is a good thing but too much is horrible and according to Atsdr some people who ate or drank fluids that contains unusually high levels of nitrate experienced methemoglobinemia also it causes red tide too. Therefore, our wetland is built for getting rid of this chemical so it doesn’t stack up with other waters or foods that you may consume so please help us restore this wetland and save our waters from red tide and other disease caused by other chemicals that our wetland gets rid of.
